Is BriefMD free?

Yes. No credit card and no paid tier.

Which journals are included?

All of PubMed, over 37 million citations. You can also follow up to five specific journals to get their newest papers in a separate section.

Who writes the summaries?

They are AI-generated from each paper's PubMed abstract. Summaries help you decide what to read; they don't replace the paper.

How many emails will I get?

One brief per specialty you follow, on the schedule you choose: daily, twice a week or weekly. Each brief shows the top five papers; the rest wait in your library.

Can I use my hospital email?

Hospital and university filters often block automated mail. A personal address (Gmail, iCloud, Outlook) works best.

How do I save papers?

Click "Save" under any paper in your brief. It goes straight to your library, where you can search, add notes and export citations.

How do I change my specialties or topics?

Sign in and open Settings. Changes apply to your next brief.

How do I unsubscribe?

Use the link at the bottom of any brief. You can stop one specialty or all of them.
